We trust that the book «Greece, Pictorial Descriptive and Historical» by Christopher Wordsworth is a tribute not only to Greece but also to the international touring literature. It is an accumulation of knowledge and love for this country and all it represents as manifested through the excellence of the narrative and the abundance of the engravings by eminent artists of its time. Therefore, we came forth with this republication of the fist 1839 British edition, as we value it to be one of the classic volumes of the traveling literature.
